I have known Dr. Madhu since 2010 in one of my trips to Kathmandu during a project I was conducting about traditional medicine systems at my university. I was totally intrigued about him due to his profound and age-old knowledge about Ayurveda and I must say that he comes from a very old Vaidya family going back to the 14th century. The clinic still exercises Ayurveda in the good-old traditional way, something very hard to find in the Subcontinent. The medicines are all prepared according to the traditional ways by his brother and his elder brother also takes care of Nepali patients. Dr. Madhu is a Vaidya but much more than that. He listens to you very attentively and tries to find a diagnosis taking the whole body, mind and the prakriti of the person. Many vaidyas of the modern times do not bother with that anymore. The family also comes from the Bajracharya caste who are traditionally priests of Newari Buddhism.
I and my mother also visited him in the following years and we both agree that Dr. Madhu’s diagnosis, prognosis and therapy methods are correct, holistic and effective. I have nothing but praise for him.

Dr. Mana and Dr. Madhu have been my, and my family’s, principal doctors for about 40 years. There is no doubt that the family preserves a deep knowledge of ayurveda, and has vast experience gained in over 700 years. Perhaps here I should mention that they changed my life.
I have been being suffering of allergies of many kinds (I’m allergic to many plants ,insect bites etc) from my childhood,but since I take their medicines I have solved my problem ( and my son too) ,so I do not need to swallow harmful chemical like cortisone and antihistamines as I used to do before .
